Our Daycare
The Daycare programme at The Hive seeks to make your child comfortable and confident within themselves and amongst others. Usually as the first place away from home, it is important that your child feels the same level of love and care as they would in a home setting. The Honey Bee's enable socialisation, routine, physical development and self-development.
Through child led play, our Honey Bee's are able to share their unique personalities, express likes and dislikes whilst learning to communicate with others. During this phase, Aunty's are able to watch, enjoy and nurture your child as they develop as an individual and a part of their small group of friends.
With consistent updates on our Beehive App, you will never feel too far away from your little busy bee.
Our Aunty's
In the Honey Bee's, Aunty Clara, Aunty Nadia & Aunty Druscilla are ready to provide an exceptional level of love and care for your little one(s). With over 30 years experience in childcare, there is nothing that our Aunties have not experienced with children. They enjoy getting down on the children's levels and enjoying all things 'small' with their children. The bonds created between our Aunty's and their (your) little ones will remain forever. Our Aunties are happy to answer all questions and give you that much needed reassurance when it comes to your little cherub.
Preschool Prep
All of our Honey Bee's are guaranteed a space in our preschool as they become 2 or when we deem them developmentally ready. Beginning in our daycare puts our children at an advantage 1. No waitlist! 2. They are introduced to the routine of the Hive and spend some warm-up days in preschool in the months leading up to their transition. By the end of daycare in our Honey Bee's, your little one will confident and comfortable in their transition to preschool.
Routine
In our Honey Hive, the little ones have a standard daily routine. Through this routine, they develop a sense of time, anticipation and sequencing. When working with children it is important to remain open-minded, and as such, the routine may very well be shaken up a little!
